EuroCham Cosmetic Working Group participated as an observer on the 34th ASEAN Cosmetic Committee (ACC) Meeting that was held virtually on 15-16 November 2021. This meeting was chaired by Mr. Lok Saphy from the Cambodian Government (as Chairperson) and Drs. Hary Wahyu (as Vice Chairperson) from the Indonesian National Agency for Drug and Food Control (BPOM).

The 34th ACC meeting shared updates from the ASEAN Secretariat related to ASEAN economic integration, especially related to the ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework (ACRF), implementation of the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD), resolution of Country Specific Requirements (CSR) issues in several ASEAN countries, as well as Post Market reporting.

On 10 November 2021, a taskforce focused on advocacy for the topic of 5G within the EuroCham Technology Working Group met to exchange updates as well as coordinate advocacy efforts on the development and implementation of 5G technology in Indonesia. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Working Group, Antoine Schweitzer. Member companies in this meeting discussed upcoming advocacy plans so as to better position the voice of the private sector on the 5G-related topic in Indonesia.
