Business Lunch Forum: ASEAN economic integration – Growing regional business opportunities

ASEAN remains set to develop with speed, creating much interest and excitement from international, local and regional investors. This is also spurred by the expected AEC economic integration, for which a new policy framework will be launched in December 2015. What are the clear advantages emerging from enhanced economic integration of ASEAN? What are the new opportunities in this strong growth environment? What are the challenges to overcome?

BASF donated books to students in three schools in the vicinity of its Cimanggis Site on September 15, 2015. An annual corporate social responsibility program of the site since 1995, the initiative aims at giving back to the community in which the company operates, by promoting educational development among students in these schools.

The Electric Power and Renewable Energy Indonesia 2015 was held recently at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran on September 16-19, 2015 and opened to a great success attracting 943 industry participants from 51 countries. Participating in the country’s largest and most international energy event, Siemens exhibited its latest portfolios in the Power and Gas, Energy Management, Process Industries and Drives and the Digital Factory divisions. Taking place alongside the exhibition was the Conference of Indonesia Electrical Power Society 2015 (CIEPS) hosted by the Indonesian Electrical Power Society (MKI). In this 2-day conference, power and gas experts from Siemens presented two timely topics that address the power generation challenges in Indonesia in terms of efficiency and reliability.
