Symposium of World Diabetes Day 2017: The Consistency of Novo Nordisk Support in Advocating for Better Diabetes Prevention and Care

In coincide the momentum of World Diabetes Day this year; Novo Nordisk continues its consistentcy in partnering with goverment to support the developement of world’s health through supporting the event of Ministry of Health, the Symposium – World Diabetes Day 2017. Took place at Ritz Carlton Hotel Mega Kuningan, Jakarta on November 29, this event attended by 700 participants consisting of government officials from more than 5 ministries and institution representatives, students, society, blogger, as well as representatives from cross-program and sector; and is opened by the Minister of Health, Prime Minister Denmark, Secretary General to the Minister of Health and also Vice President & GM PT Novo Nordisk Indonesia.

 

It is also a part of Novo Nordisk’s continuation partnership with Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (MoH) in efforts to control diabetes through various programs such as conducting education and communication activities for patients as well as improving the capacity of health practitioners in primary care, which is also prioritized by the Government of Denmark.
