Transport and logistics is a very important sector for the Indonesian economy as it has inter-linkages with other productive sectors in the country. European transport and logistics companies in Indonesia represent a significant volume of goods that flow to and from the country. Given the importance and dynamic of the sector, EuroCham established a Transport & Logistics Working Group as a platform for European companies to discuss their sectoral issues.

The working group consists of freight forwarding companies, express delivery services companies, airlines as well as shipping companies. The group aims to be actively engaged with the Government of Indonesia in a positive result-oriented dialogue by giving inputs and recommendations regarding relevant regulations. The group is also eager to contribute in the policy making process by providing the government with information on best practices in the transport and logistics sector of other countries.
