Ericsson Named Leader in Frost Radar: Global 5G Network Infrastructure Market, 2020

With more than 130 commercial 5G agreements with communications service providers and 83 live 5G networks worldwide, Ericsson has been named a leader in the global 5G network infrastructure in 2020 by leading business consulting firm Frost & Sullivan. According to the latest Frost Radar review, Ericsson is ranked at the top of the 5G network infrastructure market by enhancing its current leadership in the 4G network infrastructure market. According to Frost & Sullivan, the 5G network infrastructure market includes radio access networks (RAN), transport networks and core networks, which can include one or more edge networks.

In its latest report, Frost & Sullivan independently lists the top 20 companies from more than 100 global industry participants. These companies lead the overall market and market segments, or are considered leaders in certain segments. Frost Radar reveals that a company's market position in a particular industry is determined by their Growth and Innovation score, as applied in the Frost Radar methodology.
