Covid-19 has ravaged Indonesia. The world’s fourth most populous country has recorded the highest fatalities in South East Asia. The government has deployed stringent measures to get the pandemic under control, as well as unprecedented stimulus packages to minimise the economic damage. The health system is overwhelmed, while major economic indicators such as FDI, exports, imports, and retail sales, all show a downward trend.
