Energy Working Group Meeting

The Energy Working Group Meeting’s sharing session this month was held on 22 October 2020 and was carried out in collaboration with HHP Law Firm, with the topic entitled, “Power Sector Updates: From Renewable Regulations to Omnibus Law" that was presented by Norman Bissett (Foreign Legal Consultant, HHP Law Firm), Anita Karina Sungkono (Senior Associate, HHP Law Firm), Ibnu Hasan (Senior Associate, HHP Law Firm), and Nadia Soraya (Partner, HHP Law Firm). The discussion was moderated by Thomas Wagner (EuroCham Head of Energy Working Group / Chief Representative South-East Asia-Envitec BIOGAS AG). The discussion sought to get updates on a number of regulations in process pertinent with the energy power sector, including on the Renewable Bill, Draft of Renewable Presidential Regulations, and even the most recent Omnibus Law that also included some areas on power sector provisions.
