Nine EuroCham Member Companies Duly Recognized by the Ministry of Health

Nine EuroCham member companies were duly recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia through a Recognition Award Ceremony held at the Ministry of Health in Jakarta on 29 December 2022. The plaques of appreciation were presented to representatives of companies and institutions in recognition of their philanthropic donations in kind in support of the Indonesian government’s efforts to effectively address the surge in positive COVID-19 cases that occured in Indonesia in the middle of this year through the construction and operational support critically needed by patients and medical workers at the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Pondok Gede, East Jakarta as well as other parts of Indonesia. The companies duly recognized by the Ministry of Health included nine EuroCham member companies that comprised of Danone Indonesia, Unilever Indonesia, Frisian Flag Indonesia, BASF Indonesia, Nestle Indonesia, Prudential Indonesia, BBraun Indonesia, Kerry Ingredients Indonesia, and Shipper Indonesia. Representatives from all nine EuroCham member companies were present to receive the plaques. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, and the awards were presented by the Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, dr. Dante Saksono Harubuwono. The speakers at the event, which included EuroCham, highlighted the valuable lessons gained from the successful Government-Private Sector collaboration that is in line with the spirit of “Gotong Royong” or mutual assistance. The success of the collaboration can serve as the basis or benchmark for future Government-Private Sector collaborations in times of crisis as well as in the implementation of other programs carried out by the Ministry of Health and the Government. EuroCham would like to express its utmost appreciation to all member companies that have contributed their time, energy, and resources during Indonesia’s hour of need.
