Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology Working Group Meeting - “Health Services: The Key to Fight the Pandemic in Indonesia”

On 23 October, EuroCham Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology held a virtual meeting to share key insights on how to deal with the pandemic in Indonesia. EuroCham invited representatives from APACMED, Ministry of Health, BKPM, and two other foreign companies, namely ADEN Services dan Medtronic to elaborate in detail on the topic of “Health Services: The Key to Fight the Pandemic in Indonesia”. The Meeting was presided by distinguished speakers from a number of multinational companies and relevant government agencies, namely:

  1. Harjit Gill, CEO of Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed), Singapore
  2. Jean-Francois Trebillod, ASEAN Cluster General Manager, ADEN Services
  3. Yoet Savithri, Deputy Director of Hospital Referral and Monitoring Management, Ministry of Health;
  4. Reswita D. Gisriani, Head of Market Access, Government Affairs and Partnership, Chair of Cluster 1 Market Access Council, Chair of Asia Pacific Government Affairs Council, Medtronic; and
  5. Heldy Satrya Putera, Senior Advisor to the Chairman on Enhancement of Investment Competitiveness, BKPM.

The Meeting was chaired by Wulaning Putri (Deputy Head of EuroCham Pharma & Medtech Working Group / Head of Government Affairs and Business Development, Head of Quality Regulatory, Siemens Healthineers) who moderated the discussion. Hanum Yahya (Head of EuroCham Pharma & Medtech Working Group / Country Head of Public Affairs, Communications and Patient Advocacy of Novartis Indonesia) provided the opening remarks, while Harimurti Listianto (Deputy Head of EuroCham Pharma & Medtech Working Group / GM Government Affairs and Regulatory for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device, B Braun Medical Indonesia) provided the closing remarks.
