To navigate the "New Normal" in Indonesia, wherein business activities are expected to operate amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, companies have begun to formulate back-to-office strategies for its employees and stakeholders. To ensure that operations continue to function while minimizing the risks of exposure to COVID-19 for the employees of member companies, EuroCham organized a Sharing Session on the "Back-to-Office" Protocol on Tuesday (19/5).

The event was designed as a sharing session with representatives from well-known global companies that included Umesh Phadke (the President Director of L'Oreal Indonesia), Dedie Renaldi Manahera (Danone's Head of HR-Business Services), and Hery Haryono (Siemens Indonesia’s Corporate EHS Manager). The speakers explained the strategies and protocols adopted by each company in preparation for the back-to-office. The presentations drew open discussions, suggestions, and experiences from the over 80 participants with the hope that the discussion can help EuroCham member companies formulate an internal protocol that are based on best practices which places the health and safety of the workforce as a top priority.
