On 14 May 2019, EuroCham was invited by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) to a small workshop on trade facilitation and risk management. The purpose of this workshop is to collect thoughts and feedback that can be feed into a project implemented by the GIZ jointly with the German Alliance for Trade Facilitation to support Indonesia’s commitment to apply risk management to border controls in compliance with the WTO’s Trade Facilitation. At the meeting, EuroCham and few member companies shared their experiences in interacting with the relevant ministries in the context of import and export procedures as well as provided inputs on the overall project.
