The Launching Event of the EuroCham Annual Position Papers 2022

EuroCham successfully launched today its annual EuroCham Position Papers 2022 as well as organized an online panel discussion entitled,“Strengthening the Indonesian Economy Post-Pandemic". The EuroCham Position Papers 2022 covers 13 sectors and 1 executive summary that reflects European businesses' experiences and views conveyed with the intent of improving Indonesia’s economic competitiveness and ease of doing business. The event marks the official launch of EuroCham Position Papers 2022 as well as provides the unique opportunity to discuss the government's plan and the private sector's role in strengthening the Indonesian economy in the post-pandemic era.

This event commenced with opening remarks by Agus Ciputra (Acting Chairman of EuroCham Indonesia and President Director of BASF Indonesia), and was followed by Keynote Speeches provided by H.E. Vincent Piket (EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam), H.E. Airlangga Hartarto (Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs), and Dedi Permadi (Special Staff for the Minister on Digital Policy and Human Resources Development & Spokesperson for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology).

The panel discussion comprised of distinguished speakers including Andi Rizaldi (Senior Advisor to the Minister of Industry for Business Climate and Investment), Nurul Ichwan (Deputy Minister for Investment Planning, Ministry of Investment/BKPM), and Rachmat Hidayat (Head of EuroCham Import-Export Procedures Working Group & Government Relations Director of Danone Indonesia). The overall discussion was moderated by Alvin Christian (EuroCham Board Member and Treasurer & Managing Director of TMF Group).
