AXA Raises a Fundraising in Response to COVID-19

As part of AXA Mandiri and AXA’s contribution in supporting the medical frontliners in the fight against COVID-19, the employees and financial marketers of the companies collaborated with the fundraising platform Kitabisa.com, to raise more than Rp. 456 million. This donation is to towards providing health workers with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and multivitamins.

The donation was symbolically handed over by AXA Mandiri and AXA directors to the representative of kitabisa.com and Dr. Riskiyana Sukandhi Putra, M.Kes, Director of Health Promotion and Community Empowerment from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, through a virtual meetings on the 29th of April.

Commenting on the occasion, Julien Steimer, the country CEO of AXA Indonesia and Commissioner of AXA Mandiri said "We at AXA Mandiri and AXA, would like to express our highest appreciation to the health workers who are at the forefront in handling COVID-19. As part of our support to this community, we are distributing PPEs to health workers in three hospitals, namely Fatmawati General Hospital, Jakarta, Hasan Sadikin General Hospital, Bandung and Sanglah General Hospital, Denpasar. We hope this assistance will be of help to protect the health workers in carrying out their heroic duties.”
