EuroCham was pleased to be invited to the Regal Springs Indonesia, a member of EuroCham, to the “Celebrate National Fish Day & Unveiling a New Culinary experience: Tilapia - A Source of Protein and Nutrition to Support Indonesia’s Golden Generation” in commemoration of National Fish Day 2025.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries: Haeru Rahayu (Director General of Aquaculture) ; Widya Rusyanto (Head of Post-Harvest Quality Center) ; Tris Aris Wibowo (Director of Processing) and followed by Dr. Kristina Joy, BMedSc, M. Gizi, Sp.GK. (Clinical Nutritionist); Rudolf Hoeffelman (President Director of Regal Springs).

The discussion highlights the strategic steps to strengthen Regal Springs’ role in the integrated fisheries sector, while continuously supporting Indonesia’s national agenda on food security through high-quality fish protein.

The latest PwC’s Global Entertainment & Media Outlook 2025–2029 highlights Indonesia as one of the fastest-growing E&M (Entertainment & Media) markets globally, projected to reach US$41 billion by 2029 with a compound annual growth rate of 8.4%, nearly double the global average. Digital adoption and mobile-first behaviour are fuelling growth across streaming, gaming, and advertising. Abdullah Azis, PwC Indonesia’s TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) Leader, notes that classified internet advertising leads with a 27% CAGR, followed by connected TV in-stream ads at 19%. Cinema admissions rose by 10.2% in 2024, with local films capturing 65% of the box office share. With live music and gaming sectors also booming, Indonesia’s E&M industry presents exciting opportunities for investors, content creators, and digital platforms.
