36th ACSB Meeting

EuroCham Cosmetics Working Group were invited to be observer at the 36th ASEAN Cosmetic Scientific Body (ACSB) meeting on 21 – 22 November and held hybrid. The meeting was attended by several local and foreign cosmetics associations. The agenda of the meetings mainly discussed on the technical issues from the previous 35th ACSB meeting which have not been decided namely; the outcome on the safety assessment of Silver Zinc Zeolite, possibility to adopt additional fragrance raw material to the ASEAN regulation, adopting EU regulation on the use of UV Filters in cosmetics products, etc. From Indonesia would also like to propose some items to be discussed and seeking for opinions from other ASEAN member states in the status of cosmetic product which using microneedle can be categorized as cosmetic or not.
