Welcome
Automotive WG Meeting
EuroCham Indonesia’s Automotive Working Group convened its first meeting of the year on 29 January, focusing on regulatory and policy developments in the automotive sector. The meeting was chaired by Ibu Nitya Wulandari, Deputy Head of the Automotive Working Group and Head of Public Affairs at Michelin Indonesia & Malaysia.
The strategic discussion covered several key topics, including the latest developments on standardization in the automotive sector, such as updates on type approval regulations and the ongoing implementation of mandatory SNI. Members also discussed progress on the IEU-CEPA, as well as recent trade policy developments. In addition, the Working Group outlined its 2026 stakeholder engagement plan to convey priority advocacy issues to relevant ministries and stakeholders.
On this occasion, the Working Group is also pleased to announce the appointment of two new Deputy Heads: Fenny Sofyan, Head of Corporate Communications and Government Relations at Bosch Indonesia, and Mick Deakin, Local Field Manager at TÜV Rheinland Indonesia. Their leadership will further strengthen the Group’s capacity to drive meaningful dialogue and policy advocacy on behalf of the automotive industry.
We thank all members for their participation.
