Automotive Working Group Meeting on SNI

Members of the Automotive Working Group organized an ad-hoc meeting on 18 May 2022 to discuss on the ongoing development pertaining to the new SNI regulation planned by the Ministry of Industry. This development was mentioned by the Ministry of Industry but the draft regulation has not been shared with the private sector. This Meeting was chaired by the Head of the Automotive Working Group, Daniel Purba (Associate Director of External Affairs Mercedes Benz Indonesia), and two representatives of member companies in the tire industry, namely Kartika Susanti (Head of Public Affairs and Press Relation Michelin Indonesia) and Willyanto Linjaya (Country General Manager of Continental Tires Indonesia). As a result of this meeting, a draft joint letter with other foreign chambers/business councils is being finalized to request further information and a copy of the draft regulation from the Ministry of Industry.
