Automotive Working Group: Updates on IKD and CKD Scheme

The Automotive Working Group held its regular meeting on Wednesday, 4 October 2017 at EuroCham Office. Led by, Mr. Ary Tjahyono, Head of Working Group, the meeting discussed and share updates on new regulations, including the IKD and CKD Scheme under the Automotive Industry Policy. This policy has been issued by the Minister of Industry and will be elaborated further by the working group for follow up discussion.

The Working Group also discussed recurrent issues such as latest revision of iron and steel products import provision, tyres import provision, and standards. As follow up for the meeting, the Working Group planned its further advocacy strategy to engage with relevant government officials. Furthermore, other issues being discussed are including topics for EU-Indonesia Business Dialogue (EIBD) and topics for EuroCham Position Paper 2017.
