Barn Raising Event: Moving Forward Together for a Better Indonesia

On March 7, EuroCham was honored to be invited to "Barn Raising 2024: Moving Forward Together for a Better Indonesia," hosted by Danone Indonesia, a platinum member of EuroCham. The event commemorated B Corp Communication's collaboration with the Indonesian government to support the government's sustainable development target in creating a positive impact on the environment.

The event began with opening remarks from Rosy Wediawaty (Director of Trade Investment and International Economic Cooperation from the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas Republic of Indonesia), highlighting the government's support to promote the B Corp certification in improving competitiveness for local products through responsible business operations in the global market. This was followed by an insightful panel discussion moderated by Thomas Ng (Lead of B Market Builder Southeast Asia) and featured distinguished speakers: Muhammad Neil El Himam (Deputy for Digital Economy and Creative Products from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy), Karyanto Wibowo (Director of Sustainable Development of Danone), Mercy Aritonang (Chief People Officer from The The Body Shop Indonesia) and Bertram F. (Chief Sustainability Officer of SukkhaCitta).
