BPOM FGD: Brainstorming on Drafting Regulations in the Fields of Natural Medicine, Quasi Medicine, Health Supplements, and Cosmetics for 2025

On January 15, EuroCham was invited to attend the public consultation on brainstorming on drafting regulations for 2025 in the sectors of Natural Medicines, Quasi Medicine, Health Supplement, and Cosmetic. The event was conducted by the Directorate Standardization of Traditional Medicine, Health Supplement, and Cosmetics - Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM).

The event opened with remarks from the Deputy for Supervision of Traditional Medicine, Health Supplement, and Cosmetics (Bapak Mohammad Kashuri, S.Si, Apt, M.Farm) and then continued with a presentation by the Director of Standardization of Traditional Medicine, Health Supplement, and Cosmetics (Ibu Dian Putri Anggraweni, S.Si, Apt., M.Farm). She conveyed the progress on drafting regulations in 2024 as well as the plan to draft the regulation in 2025. Representatives from business associations welcomed the event and actively provided input.

The event was conducted in hybrid and attended by participants either offline or online and were coming from related departments at BPOM, other ministries/related agencies, associations, NGOs, and businesses in the related sectors.
