CIPS Event: Towards Golden Indonesia 2045: Indonesia’s Accession to the OECD for Sustainable Economic Transformation

On 28 July 2025, EuroCham had the pleasure of attending a public discussion hosted by the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) titled “Menuju Indonesia Emas 2045: Aksesi Indonesia dalam OECD untuk Transformasi Ekonomi Berkelanjutan.”

The session provided an overview of Indonesia’s OECD accession process and its implications for economic transformation. Key insights discussed CIPS policy brief on the potential economic impact of aligning national regulations with OECD standards, focusing on strategic reforms in light of Indonesia’s ambition to become a high-income country by 2045.

The panel featured leading voices across sectors, including Ferry Ardiyanto (Deputy Assistant for Multilateral Economic Cooperation, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs), Shinta W. Kamdani (Chairperson of APINDO), Lili Yan Ing (Senior Economist of ERIA), and Yuna Farhan (Country Manager, International Budget Partnership). The session was moderated by Donna Gultom (Advisory Board of CIPS), with a keynote address by Anton Rizki (CEO of CIPS) and a presentation of the CIPS report by Dr. Krisna Gupta.
