Company Visit to PepsiCo

On 9 December, EuroCham had the honor of organizing a company visit to PepsiCo Indonesia, our esteemed Gold Member.

The visit began with a tour of their community garden located in Sukamahi Village. We had the opportunity to learn about PepsiCo’s initiatives in engaging local communities through programs focused on nutrition and healthy lifestyle education, as well as supporting ethical and sustainable farming through vegetable cultivation and fish farming.

The journey continued with a site visit to their factory in Cikarang. We were warmly welcomed by PepsiCo Indonesia team, who provided in-depth insights into how PepsiCo Indonesia produces its iconic snacks through sustainable practices, including packaging collection and recycling, the use of renewable energy, and water replenishment efforts. The company visit concluded with a tour of their plant, a networking Q&A session, and closing remarks from Adipurno Putranto (Deputy Head of the Sustainable Development Working Group).
