Cyprus as a Gateway – Linking the European & Southeast Asian Tech & Innovation Ecosystems

On 25 June, EuroCham Indonesia was honored to be invited by the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus to attend “Cyprus as a Gateway – Linking the European & Southeast Asian Tech & Innovation Ecosystems,” organized by H.E. Ambassador Nikos Panayiotou, Ambassador of Cyprus to Indonesia, and Mr. Demetris Skourides, Chair of the Research and Innovation Foundation and Chief Scientist of the Republic of Cyprus.

It was a pleasure to hear the insights from Prof. Stella Christie, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Denis Chaibi, Ambassador of the European Union to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, and the delegation of Cypriot companies and enterprises. The discussions highlighted Cyprus’s growing technology and innovation ecosystem and its role in bridging Europe, Indonesia, and Southeast Asia.

EuroCham extends its sincere appreciation to H.E. Ambassador Nikos Panayiotou and the Cypriot Embassy for the kind invitation and for fostering meaningful dialogue on the future of technology and innovation collaboration between Europe and Southeast Asia.
