Discussion on BPOM’s plan to draft regulations for the traditional medicines, health suplement, cosmetics, and quasi drugs

On Thursday, 26 January 2023, the Directorate of Standardization of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements and Cosmetics (National Agency of Drug and Food Control/BPOM) held a Brainstorming Activity for Drafting Regulations in the sector of Traditional Medicines, Quasi Medicines, Health Supplements and Cosmetics in 2023. The event was conducted in a hybrid setting and opened by the Deputy of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements and Cosmetics Supervision, Dra. Reri Indriani, Apt. Msi, and also Drh. Rachmi Setyorini who was the speaker for the event. 

The goal of this event was to raise awareness of the Directorate of Standardization of Traditional Medicine’s various initiatives. Health Supplements and Cosmetics, namely the progress of drafting regulations in 2022, regulations that have been released in 2022, socialization activities that have been carried out during 2022, and drafting regulations plans in 2023. This event was held to gather inputs as well as aspirations from business actors and stakeholders on the regulation drafting plan
