Discussion on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

On July 10, EuroCham had the opportunity to participate in a Focus Group Discussion titled “Responding to Policy Recommendations for Reducing Plastic Waste through Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)” hosted by the Doctoral Program in Psychology, Universitas Katolik Atma Jaya.

With Andy Bahari, National Leader of World Cleanup Day (WCD) Indonesia, as the keynote speaker, the discussion brought together voices from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), the Ministry of Industry, industry players, research, and advocacy communities to reflect on the role of EPR in shaping Indonesia’s plastic waste reduction policies.
