EKONID Business Roundtable with Bundesministerium Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWE)

On May 5th, EuroCham Indonesia had the opportunity to participate in the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Indonesian - German Working Group on Quality Infrastructure in Jakarta.

The discussions highlighted the increasing importance of quality infrastructure, standardization, digitalization, and regulatory cooperation in strengthening Indonesia - Germany economic relations and enhancing market access. It was also valuable to exchange perspectives with stakeholders from government, industry, and international organizations regarding international standards, the Digital Product Passport (DPP), and the broader opportunities arising from the I-EU CEPA. As Indonesia continues to strengthen its role within global value chains, collaboration on quality infrastructure will remain essential in supporting trade facilitation, industrial competitiveness, product safety, and sustainable economic development.
