Energy Leaders Working Group Meeting with JETP Delivery Unit

Published on 28 August 2026

On July 27, the EuroCham Energy Working Group held a meeting with members of the JETP team, along with representatives from GIZ, the German Embassy, Kemenko, and Danantara. The meeting focused on reforming renewable energy procurement in Indonesia, with a particular focus on the 100GW program as part of the government target strategy.

The session aimed to align existing studies and ongoing initiatives — including GIZ's procurement and transmission financing research (Based on India's SECI procurement framework), Danantara DDMF's project de-risking role, and the government's presidential regulation (PERPRES) on land readiness. Participants discussed a proposed five-part work stream structure (baseline, risk/de-risking, international benchmarking, institutional frameworks, and recommendations) as a structured benchmark for the success of JEPT.

The meeting also sought to clarify roles and leadership among stakeholders, and to identify how each organization, including EuroCham, could contribute actionable input toward a procurement model that is transparent, bankable, and ultimately shapes government policy.

EuroCham would like to extend our appreciation to the JETP Delivery Unit, Kemenko, GIZ, and Danantara for attending this informative meeting.
