Energy Working Group Meeting

On 28 November 2019, Energy Working Group held its last meeting for this year. The meeting was haired by the Deputy Head of Energy Working Group for Oil & Gas and Geothermal, Nicolas van den Abeele (Head of Business Development for Renewable Energy and Gas of ENGIE Indonesia). The meeting discussed Foreign Investment policy and acceleration of Renewable Energy (RE) Development. The most important attractive factor was about the feed-in-tariff offered by RE sector of Biogas, PV, Wind, Geothermal, and Hydro. This meeting also discussed about the project financing to make projects bankable. Some issues raised were tariff currency, risk allocation, protection of lenders security rights, transfer of the asset at the end of the term, termination payment, and etc.
