Energy Working Group: Thomas Wagner Re-elected as Head, New Deputies Appointed

On February 22, 2018, Eurocham Energy Working Group held the second meeting of the year at Mercantile Athletic Club to discuss the Working Group leadership structure, policy updates, and upcoming activities and events. The meeting also revisited Energy Dinner 2018 event that was held earlier in the month.

Chaired by Thomas Wagner (Head of EuroCham Energy Working Group), members of the working group re-elected him as the Head of Working Group along with some changes in the deputies. The new leadership team for energy working group now is as the following:

• Board Patron: Mr. Wichard Von Harrach (Jawa Power)              
• Head of Working Group: Mr. Thomas Wagner (Envitec Biogas)
• Deputy for Energy Efficiency: Ms. Eva Pitterling (TUV Nord)
• Deputy for Oil & Gas (Fiscal): Mr. Omar Abdulkadir (Price Waterhouse Cooper)
• Deputy for Power Generation: Mr. Frederic Fontan & Mr. Christophe Compte (co-chair EDF & Engie)
• Deputy for Renewable Energy: Mr. Miroslav Dijakovic (Contained Energy)

The meeting was concluded with the handover of token appreciation to Mr. Wichard von Harrach for his time and contribution as Deputy Head for Power Generation and Renewable Energy of Energy Working Group during the past years.
