EuroCham Energy Working Group Meeting

On 31 July, the Energy Working Group convened its regular meeting led by the Head of Working Group, Thomas Wagner (Chief Representative, Envitec Biogas); Deputy Head for Renewable Energy, Miroslav Dijakovic (Director of Business Development, Cleantech Solar Indonesia); and Deputy Head for Energy Efficiency, Thomas Dreessen (President Director, Indesco). The Working Group was pleased to welcome Frederic Draps (Partner at Ashurst) as the speaker, who provided a comprehensive legal perspective on the latest energy planning instruments.

The session centered on the evolving regulatory landscape within Indonesia’s energy sector with discussions of the recently issued 2025–2034 Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL). The members also exchanged insights on how these strategic plans shape the roadmap for power generation and infrastructure development.
