Welcome
EuroCham Energy Working Group Meeting

On September 25, the EuroCham Energy Working Group convened its regular meeting at the EuroCham office. The session was led by Thomas Wagner (Head of WG), Miroslav Dijakovic (Deputy Head for Renewable Energy), and Thomas Dreessen (Deputy Head for Energy Efficiency).
In this session, we were honored to welcome representatives from GIZ and WRI on behalf of the Sustainable Energy Transition in Indonesia (SETI) initiative. Daniel Maynard Samosir (Advisor for Industry Decarbonisation, GIZ) and Caesar Kusuma (Energy Efficiency Specialist, WRI) presented compelling results from the first batch of their industrial energy audits, showcasing significant potential for energy and cost savings, as well as substantial carbon emission reductions across five pilot companies. Their presentation offered valuable perspectives on practical industry engagement and implementation, with the detailed slides shared to members during the meeting.
EuroCham extends its sincere gratitude to the SETI team for their insightful presentation and to all members for their active participation. We look forward to continuing this momentum.
