EuroCham HR Working Group Meeting with the Directorate of Visa

On September 10th, the Human Resources Working Group held a meeting on Visa Policy Reform in Indonesia: Developments and Opportunities. We were honored to welcome Mr. Eko Budianto (Director of Visa and Travel Documents of the Directorate General of Immigration, Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Affairs) as guest speaker. The meeting was opened by remarks from Samuel Siahaan (Head of Human Resource Working Group & Human Resources Business Partner and Head of Industrial Relations at APL Care) and concluded with closing remarks from Edison Bako (Executive Director of EuroCham).

The meeting outlined the government’s latest steps to refine Indonesia’s visa system. The discussion touched on digitalization of applications, updates to visit and work visa procedures, and the introduction of long-term residency options aimed at supporting tourism and investment.

The Human Resources Working Group reiterates its commitment to provide a platform for constructive dialogue on workforce mobility regulations in Indonesia. Thank you to the Directorate General of Immigration for the valuable exchange. We look forward to continued collaboration.
