EuroCham - TUV Nord FGD on SNI for Lead-Acid Battery

On March 11, 2026, EuroCham Indonesia, in collaboration with our esteemed member PT. TÜV NORD Indonesia, organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) titled “Ensuring Readiness for Compliance with Mandatory Lead-Acid Battery Regulations in the Automotive Industry” at the TÜV NORD Indonesia office. The discussion was led by Rista Aristiteka Dianameci (Vice President Head of Division Product Testing at TÜV NORD Indonesia) with opening remarks from EuroCham's Deputy Head of the Automotive Working Group, Fenny Sofyan (Country Head Of Corporate Communications, Branding management and Government Relations at Bosch Indonesia).

The discussion brought together industry representatives to exchange views on the implementation of mandatory Indonesian National Standards (SNI) for lead-acid batteries, focusing on regulatory developments, technical compliance requirements, and practical considerations for businesses operating in the automotive sector. The session also provided a platform for participants to share experiences and raise concerns regarding certification processes, testing requirements, and industry readiness to comply with the evolving regulatory framework.
