European Standardisation System Workshop

EuroCham had the opportunity of attending “One-Day Interactive Panel Discussions on EU-Indonesia Digital Standardization, Market Access, and Interoperability” on June 11 at Hotel Bidakara Jakarta. Jointly organized by the Indonesia Telematics Society (MASTEL), CEN-CENELEC, ETSI, and Indico Global, this event served as an interactive dialogue forum that aimed at strengthening strategic cooperation between Indonesia and the European Union in the digital standardization sector, market access, interoperability, cybersecurity, and so forth.

The event was commenced by remarks from Sarwoto Atmosutarno (Chairman of MASTEL) and Sander Happaerts (Green Digital Counsellor at the EU Delegation to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam), followed by a presentation on the GIST Project and a panel discussion on the European standardization system and market access.
