Future Prospects: Indonesia's OECD Accession for Golden Indonesia 2045

Published on 21 July 2026

On June 24, Eurocham Indonesia was invited by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to “Future Prospects: Indonesia's OECD Accession for Golden Indonesia 2045,” an event the Embassy and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) co-organized. The event brought together students, young professionals, policymakers, academics, private sector representatives, and civil society to discuss how OECD accession could contribute to various facets of Indonesia’s economy.

The event was enlightened by insights from guest speakers such as Edi Prio Pambudi, Deputy Minister for Coordination of International Economic Cooperation of Indonesia, Massimo Geloso Grosso, Head of OECD Jakarta Office, Shinta Kamdani, CEO Sintesa Group, Chairwoman APINDO, Ilham Habibie, President of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Indonesia, and Mario Ignacio Artaza, Ambassador of Chile to Indonesia, to ASEAN and to Timor Leste.

We extend our sincere appreciation to H.E. Mr Marc Gerritsen, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the OECD Jakarta Office for the invitation and for facilitating meaningful discussions on the future of Indonesia’s OECD ascension.
