Inauguration of L’Oreal Factory

On March 7th, EuroCham Indonesia was invited to the showcase of L'Oréal 100% renewable energy sites. The L'Oréal Indonesia Plant recently converted from gas to electric boilers, allowing it to achieve 100% renewable energy in all of its operated sites, excluding safety and security installation. L’Oréal Indonesia, a prestigious gold member of EuroCham, managed to achieve these feats two years ahead of L'Oréal Groupe's worldwide goal.

The event was commenced by Junaid Murtaza (President Director at L’Oréal) and Hassan Asif (Plant Director at L’Oréal Indonesia) and was attended by Emmy Suryandari (Director of Downstream Chemicals, Ministry of Industry), Dasrul Chaniago (Director of Pollution Control and Coastal and Marine Damage, Ministry of Environment and Forestry), as well as several representatives from other ministries. The event was held at their factory in Cikarang. We would like to thank L’Oréal for inviting us, and we believe that this event certainly inspires us to be more sustainable.
