Indonesia-Europe Business Forum: Promoting Indonesia-Europe Business Collaboration Towards A More Sustainable and Equitable Economic Development

On the 7th of October, EuroCham was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the Indonesia – Europe Business Forum (IEBF) 2024. The annual event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, aims to bring together government officials, businesses, and stakeholders from Indonesia and Europe to optimize business potential, boost investment, and increase business exchange between Indonesia and Europe. This year's theme was “Promoting Indonesia-Europe Business Collaboration Towards A More Sustainable and Equitable Economic Development”.

The opening ceremony featured opening remarks from H.E. Pahala Mansury (Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs) and Shinta Kamdani (Chairwoman of Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (APINDO)). This was then followed by the signing of several Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Indonesian and foreign business representatives.

The event then commenced with business pitching from several industries. The pitches included representatives from the Sekretariat Dewan Nasional Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus, Assemblr, Indonesia CCS Center, Bio Farma - Indonesia, Mustika Ratu and AINAKI (Indonesian Animation Industry Association).
