Invitation to Virtual Business Dialogue - KADIN and GPQI

On Thursday, 24 February 2022, KADIN and Global Project Quality Infrastructure (managed by GIZ in Indonesia) held a virtual business dialogue under the topic of , "Import - Export with European countries through Germany by harmonisation of standards." This event served as a forum for discussion related to the importance of harmonising standards to reduce technical barriers to trade and increase trade between the two countries. Johannes Braun, Project Director of GPQI, opened the webinar and was followed by remarks delivered by Bernardino M. Vega (Vice Chairman for International Relations of KADIN). Juliane Spangenberg, the Head of GPQI Indonesia, and Celine Becker, GPQI Indonesia’s advisor, provided an introduction to GPQIs activities in Indonesia.

The discussion was chaired by Mufti Hamka (Permanent Committee for multilateral and FTA of KADIN) and participated by Resource Persons that comprised of Aldi Haryopratomo (Vice Chairman for SMEs of KADIN), Hamdhani Dzulkanaen Salim (Chairman of the Association of Motorcycle and Automotive Parts Industry), and Hans Lukiman (President Commissioner of Ascend).
