Launch of Coca Cola rPET Bottles

EuroCham Indonesia had the pleasure to attend an event hosted by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia for the launch of Cola-Cola bottles made from 100% recycled PET (rPET), a step closer to recycling and sustainability in Indonesia Coca-Cola introduced PET bottles that were entirely recyclable.

This strategic investment contributes to the overall objective of the Coca-Cola System to reduce the utilization of virgin plastic and reduce carbon emissions. Followed with the establishment of the Mahija Foundation, which guarantees the ethical collection of post-consumer bottle packaging waste following the principles of human rights and assures appropriate waste management procedures, complements PT Amandina Bumi Nusantara's PET recycling facility.

We would like to thank Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia for inviting us, and we hope that this launch will be another step forward in sustainability and recycling in the future.
