Meeting with BPJPH - with EU Delegation

On the 14th of November, EuroCham had the privilege of joining the EU Delegation for a meeting with the Halal Product Assurance Organising Body (BPJPH) on the implementation of Indonesia’s compulsory halal certification. The EU delegation consisted of representatives from EU member states and was led by Hans Joosten (Deputy Head of Trade and Economic Section of the EU Delegation to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam).

During the meeting with BPJPH, we had the privilege to discuss Halal policies with the Chairman of BPJPH, Haikal Hassan, and the BPJPH team of experts.

We want to thank the EU delegation for extending us an invitation and BPJPH for engaging in a discussion with us.
