Meeting with CIPS & Geneva Network: Development of IP in Indonesia

EuroCham is honored to host Trissia Wijaya and Ivania Ananta from the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) and Professor Mark Schutlz, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Endowed Chair in IP law and the Director of IP and Technology Law Program at Akron Law School and Senior Fellow Researcher at Geneva Network on November 29. Kin Wah Chow, the Head of Intellectual Property Working Group and Principal at Rouse Consulting, shared his insightful knowledge on the current IP protection practices in Indonesia and its development in attracting foreign direct investment.

The meeting was concluded that Indonesia’s IP protection needs to be strengthened for better business and investment climate in Indonesia. We would like to thank CIPS and Geneva Network for their courtesy visit and we look forward to more fruitful discussions.
