Meeting with Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs

On 16 January 2020, few representatives from EuroCham Food & Beverages Working Group had a chance to meet with Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Ms. Musdhalifah Machmud. The purpose of the meeting was to ask support from the Coordinating Ministry on the challenges in importing dairy products, especially from EU origin. EuroCham members generally would appreciate business certainty in importing dairy products required to support their business in Indonesia. During the meeting the Deputy Minister acknowledged also that companies who have made investment in Indonesia, will also need to secure their supply chain.
