Meeting with the Head of BPJPH on Halal Certification for Transportation & Logistics Sector

On July 31st, EuroCham Indonesia’s Transport & Logistics Working Group had the pleasure to have a policy meeting with BPJPH in their office. The meeting was led by Drs. Mohammed Zen, MM as the Head of Administrative Subdivision Center for Halal Cooperation and Standardization of Ministry of Halal (BPJPH). The meeting primarily discussed halal certification on logistics and warehousing.

Some of the members who joined the meeting were Jay A. Singgih, Head of the Transport & Logistics WG and CEO of Bumi Laut Group, Adhitya Mulya of A.P. Moller - Maersk, Owen Depari of PT. Logwin Air & Ocean Indonesia, Yuhendra Safitra of CMA CGM, Rangga Utama of Unilever, and Mirza Fachurrachman of PT. Ceva Logistics.

At this step of policy formulation, EuroCham is keen to be active and we look forward to more future collaborations with Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) and with involved members.
