Policy Meeting with Directorate of Road Transport Facilities and Safety, Ministry of Transportation
On 6 March 2026, the EuroCham Automotive Working Group met with Yusuf Nugroho, Director of Road Transport Facilities & Safety, at the Ministry of Transportation Republic Indonesia.
Led by the Deputy Head of the Automotive Working Group, Nitya Wulandari (Head of Public Affairs at Michelin Indonesia), members discussed developments related to the ratification and implementation of the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) on Type Approval for Automotive Products. The discussion also covered the implications of the Indonesia–EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (I-EU CEPA) for the automotive sector, particularly regarding type approval, as well as updates on the regulatory framework for roadworthiness threshold requirements in motor vehicle type testing.
