Public Consultation of Omnibus Law on Job Creation – Taxation Cluster

As part of the Public Consultation for the Implementation of the Job Creation Law, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs invited EuroCham to attend a Public Hearing for the Implementation of the Taxation Provisions within the Job Creation Law on 19 November 2020. The activity began with welcome remarks from Susiwijono (Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs) on behalf of Airlangga Hartarto (Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs). In the next session, Sri Mulyani, the Minister of Finance, gave a keynote speech on the 2021 State Budget Strategic Policy. The event was subsequently followed by a discussion session with Suryo Utomo (Director General of Taxes), Suryadi Sasmita (Deputy Chairperson of APINDO) and Darussalam (Tax Observer). The event concluded with closing remarks from Susiwijono, Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs.
