Socialization of Natural Resources Export Proceeds Policy and Strategic Natural Resources Export Governance

On May 26, EuroCham participated in the socialization of the Natural Resources Export Proceeds Policy and Strategic Natural Resources Export Governance, hosted by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. This new policy is made to foster export value and to optimize the benefits of exportation to continuously strengthen the national economy.

The strategic policy that will be applied in the initial phase includes three key national export commodities: coal, palm oil, and ferro alloy, with the details listed in a Minister of Trade Regulation. The transaction is also adjusted into two phases, with phase one starting from 1 June to 31 December 2026, an evaluation is carried out every quarter, whereas phase two will commence starting from 1 January 2027.
