The Launch of World Bank Indonesia Economic Prospects Report, June 2024 Edition

EuroCham attended The World Bank's biannual Indonesia Economic Prospects Report Launch, June 2024 edition: Unleashing Indonesia’s Business Potential, on 24 June.

The event focus of the launch pertains to the critical importance of productivity in businesses to encourage economic growth and resilience from a microeconomic perspective, highlighting the reduction of fragmentation with firms and regulatory uncertainty in order to generate quality investment.

The event was opened by Carolyn Turk, Country Director of World Bank Indonesia, and a Keynote speech was presented by Riyatno, Deputy for Investment Cooperation, Ministry of Investment/BKPM, and the Deputy Ambassador of Australia, Gita Kamath.

This was followed by an insightful panel discussion featuring distinguished speakers: Raden Pardede (Senior Advisor for the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs), Dian Siswarini (President Director at PT XL Axiata Tbk), Fauzi Ichsan (Chairman Board of the Indonesia Financial Group).
