Transport and Logistics Working Group Meeting

Towards the end of the month of May, the EuroCham Transport and Logistics Working Group held its regular meeting on 30 May 2022. The Meeting discussed a number of relevant policy and regulatory changes of importance to the transportation and logistics sector. This includes provisions of the recently effective Law No. 7 of 2021 regarding Harmonization of Tax Regulation, specifically discussing the implementation of 0% VAT rates on exports of taxable services, input tax calculation and crediting. The Meeting also discussed the Directorate General of Tax Regulation No. PER-03/PJ/2022 on Tax Invoice, and its implementation on current business practice. Lastly this meeting also briefly discussed the Working Group’s organization structure. As the Head of this Working Group remains vacant, along with a number of Deputy positions, members within the Working Group were encouraged to nominate their preferred candidates for the position. This Meeting was chaired by the Deputy Head for Customs and Excise of the EuroCham Transport and Logistics Working Group, Jop Patinggi (General Manager at A. Hartrodt).
