Water.org World Water Day 2026

On 15 April 2026, EuroCham was invited by Water.org to convene in their World Water Day 2026 event at the Pullman Hotel Thamrin Jakarta. The event was structured around a singular objective: to facilitate a collective discussion that translates into collective action. The gathering aimed to address Indonesia's water access challenge not as fragmented sectors, but as an integrated ecosystem.\

Former Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi delivered an opening video message marking the official commencement of this commemoration. Her remarks centered on women's empowerment, emphasizing that positioning women at the core of key decision-making, particularly regarding water access, is a strategic imperative. World Water Day 2026 was not merely a dialogue; it was a working session oriented toward collective action. The path forward is clear.
