Working Group Participation in Cosmetics Industry Meeting with BPOM

Recognized as a dialogue partner, EuroCham Cosmetics Working Group was invited by the National Agency for Food and Drug Control (BPOM) on 7 February 2019 to contribute in a stakeholder forum discussion regarding latest policy development in the sector. Specifically discussed in the forum were the implementation of BPOM Regulation No. 33 of 2018 on 2D Barcode Requirements, draft regulation on technical requirements for cosmetics, and lastly draft regulation on contamination in cosmetics products. Beside EuroCham, notably contributed into the discussion were other national and international cosmetics associations including PERKOSMI, ICA.
